Greeting New Year 英语节活动方案
一、活动时间:2010.12.10---2011.1.10
二、活动目的:
以西方圣诞节和迎新为主题,开展一系列的英语活动,通过活动让学生接触不同的文化习俗,藉此培养学生的人际交往能力和初步的多元文化意识。英语节系列活动是英语课堂教学的拓展和延伸,是学生学习英语,运用英语,了解中西文化差异的舞台。
三、活动具体安排
(一)前期活动
1、制作一张自己的双语名片
参加人员:一至五年级全体学生
目的:通过此活动进一步激发他们对英语学习的兴趣, 在名片制作之后鼓励学生在适当的场合进行运用,培养学生与人交往的能力。
要求:在同年级同学之间相互赠送名片,在过程中能有英语进行自我介绍
一年级:Class, Name, Tel
二年级:Class, Name, School,Tel
三年级:Class, Name, Student Number, School,Tel
四年级:Class, Name, Student Number, School,Tel,MSN
五年级:Class, Name, Student Number, School,Tel,MSN
2、书写比赛:
参加人员:二至五年级全体学生
目的:通过此活动规范孩子们的书写, 养成良好的书写习惯,进一步激发他们对英语学习的兴趣,更好的营造我校学生的学习英语的氛围。
书写内容:有关新年的祝贺语和于新年有关的短文等。
二年级:单词: cake card gift present party

四年级:
1. In Europe,typically,family and friends gather together on Christmas Eve,on Dec 24,for a big turkey dinner,completed with Christmas pudding (a rich cake with brandy source). Everyone shares their stories of the year or brings a newsletter to read out for what has happened during the past year. Games are played after the dinner. On Christmas day,Dec 25,a brunch with family is the norm,followed by some light sporting events,such as a country walk,to digest the heavy food.
2. Dec26 is called Boxing Day in the UK,which means everyone opens their box of presents-the most joyful day for the children. In the US,having just celebrated Thanksgiving with turkey,Christmas Eve dinner is more likely to have ham on the menu with a heavy dessert.
五年级:
1. In western countries, whatever you are, everyone will prepare a Christmas tree to increase the happiness of the Christmas day. Christmas trees are made of evergreen tree like Fir trees and they represent the long lives. People put candles, flowers, toys, stars on the tree and they put Christmas present on the tree. On Christmas Eve, people sing and dance happily and they enjoy themselves around the tree.
2. It is said that there was a farmer served a poor boy on a cold windy Christmas Eve and gave him a big Christmas meal. The boy cut a Fir tree's branch and inserted it into the earth. He said, "Every year this time. There will be many presents in this branch. I wish I can pay back to your favor by this beautiful Fir tree." After the boy left, the farmer discovered that the branch had grown up as a big tree. Then he realized that the boy was an envoy of the god.
3. It is said that there was a goodness man went broke his domain. He lived a hard life and he has three daughters. The three daughters were being married but he didn't have money to buy dower for his daughters. On the happy Christmas Eve three girls went to bed early. They didn't know that their father was so worried. At last the Christmas father decided to help them. He besprinkled gold through the stack and the gold fell into the socks of the man's daughters. They lived a happy life from then on... Christmas socks were original by this.
3、新年贺卡(礼物)制作
参加人员:一至五年级全体学生
目的:通过此活动培养学生良好的审美能力,进一步激发他们对英语学习的兴趣,通过贺卡的制作,使学生之间相互问候相互关爱,更好的营造我校学生的学习英语的氛围。
4、英语歌曲演唱赛
参加人员:一至五年级全体学生
目的:通过音乐和英语的结合,提高学生学习英语的兴趣。同时在唱英语歌曲的过程中习得英语,使被动地学习成为主动参与。
5、英语课本剧比赛
参加人员:四至五年级
目的:通过课本剧的表演,帮助学是在一个创设的语言环境中学习语言和运用语言,从而激发学生对英语的兴趣。鼓励学生人人参与英语课本剧的表演中。
(二)展示活动
1、书法,贺卡以及名片制作比赛运用版面进行展示
2、在各班的教室中进行展示
3、英语歌曲和英语课本剧在各班的迎新的中队主题会上进行展示
四、参与合作人员
1、由英语组参与英语比赛资料的收集工作
2、由教导处组织各项比赛
3、由各班的班主任组织学生参赛并负责各班的版面展示的布置
